Tulsa aims to reduce number of euthanized pets

TULSA - Mayor Dewey Bartlett has announced an effort to reduce the number of adoptable dogs and cats that are euthanized in Tulsa.
The initiative is called "saving the pets of Tulsa". The city will work with partners to make the initiative a reality.
"Spot's" focuses include increasing city pet registration Under the plan, the city will also increase access to low-cost spay and neutering services, and educate the public about pet ownership.
